Our Social Responsibility

Every decision makes a difference.

At CR8, we are committed to conducting our business ethically and responsibly, including sourcing branded merchandise for our staff and customers. We firmly believe that ethical practices and responsible sourcing are essential components of our overall commitment to social and environmental sustainability.

Ethical Policy: We have established and continuously adapting a comprehensive Ethical Policy that governs our procurement practices and ensures that our branded merchandise is sourced in alignment with our values through recognised APPA suppliers.

Responsible Sourcing:

1.    Human Rights and Labour Conditions: We strive to partner with recognised APPA Member Suppliers who share our dedication to fair labour practices, safe working conditions, and the protection of human rights. We conduct and seek information from our suppliers to provide and promote practices, and we encourage continuous improvement in their practices.

2.    Environmental Sustainability: We are committed to minimising our environmental impact by responsibly sourcing branded merchandise. We prioritise suppliers who demonstrate a commitment to sustainable sourcing, reduced waste, and responsible manufacturing processes. We actively seek eco-friendly materials and products aligning with our sustainability goals. We are guided by our customers requirements.

3.    Supplier Selection and Auditing: We conduct and strive to work with suppliers who actively consider factors such as social and environmental performance, compliance with industry standards. We regularly assess our suppliers through communication, and reading/adapting their policies when we are notified to ensure ongoing compliance and identify areas for improvement.

4.    Transparency and Collaboration: We believe in transparency and open communication with our suppliers, staff, and customers. We actively engage with our suppliers to raise awareness about ethical sourcing practices and encourage collaboration to drive positive change throughout our supply chain. We also welcome feedback and suggestions from our staff and customers regarding ethical concerns or opportunities for improvement. We are guided by our recognised and approved suppliers to provide us with correct information.

5.    Continuous Improvement: We recognise that responsible sourcing is an ongoing journey, and we are committed to continuously improving our practices. We regularly review and update our Ethical Policy to align with emerging industry standards and best practices. We actively seek partnerships with organisations and initiatives that promote ethical and sustainable sourcing, allowing us to stay at the forefront of responsible business practices. We also hold our suppliers accountable to continuously update their Ethical Policies to ensure that we all stay above the curve.

By adhering to our Ethical Policy and embracing responsible sourcing practices, we aim to create a positive impact on society, the environment, and the communities in which we operate. We believe that by setting high standards for ourselves and our suppliers, we can contribute to a more sustainable future and inspire others to do the same.
